The Internship Programme was a project-oriented learning opportunity for graduate students to gain work experience. The interns came from different districts in interior Sindh, and the Sindh Youth Programme capacity-building workshop by YEEEP took place in December. This 2-day workshop trained 80 participants from Sindh on various life skills that helped them excel in the practical world. Industry leaders shared valuable advice with enthusiastic interns. The graduates were deployed in the public and private sectors.
The Chief Conservator of the Sindh Forest Department, Riaz Ahmed Wagan, addressed the youth on climate change, extreme weather, and its severe impact on the ability to grow food and how young people can play their part.
The graduates were placed as interns in the public and private sectors. Soft skills such as critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving will help them to start & advance their professional careers.
